Equip yourself and your team with practical techniques to safely manage and defuse volatile situations.

Our unique and engaging violence prevention training gives employees the confidence and skills to safely respond to the continuum of client conflict, from low-level agitation through to verbal abuse, aggression and escalated in-person threats. With the Home & Site Visit add-on, employees will also learn how best to apply these skills to escalated situations that can occur during home and site visits.

Create a shift in how workers perceive and respond to escalating behaviours and potential violence.

This version of our Workplace Violence Prevention & De-escalation training includes a Home & Site Visit add-on module that explores best practices for enhancing employee safety while conducting home and site visits, and includes four unique video lessons that address a range of escalated client scenarios and how to safely and effectively respond to them.

Scenario 1 Worker de-escalates a volatile client during a one-on-one meeting at the client’s residence.

Scenario 2 Two workers manage an escalated third-party during a meeting at a client’s home.

Scenario 3 Worker assesses threatening behaviours, sets physical boundaries, and effectively disengages when faced with a threat to their personal safety.

Scenario 4 Worker maintains appropriate awareness levels, while continuing to assess client behaviours, and eventually makes the decision to prioritize their safety by removing themself after noting subtle warning signs.
