Family Services of Greater Vancouver
Founded in 1928, Family Services of Greater Vancouver supports thousands of families and individuals across the Lower Mainland living in need, in crisis, or with trauma.
Their over fifty programs, services, workshops, and groups help people build resiliency, develop skills and knowledge, and gain the confidence to make positive changes in their lives. From youth experiencing homelessness, to families impacted by trauma, to isolated seniors and newcomers to Canada–whatever the challenges FSGV clients are facing, FSGV compassionate, expert staff meet people where they are at and give them the support they need to create brighter tomorrows.
Since 2008, Family Services of Greater Vancouver has made it a priority to invest in their employee’s personal safety and well-being in the workplace by continuing to provide ARETE’s ‘customized’ Workplace Violence Prevention training to their valued team members. When COVID-19 restrictions came into place, FSGV took the necessary steps to expediently shift from ARETE’s award winning in-person workshops to delivery of our interactive Live Webinars.
ARETE is very proud to continue facilitating job specific training to the employees of FSGV so they can remain safe at work and in their personal lives.
