Community Builders
Community Builders uses a client-led, trauma-informed, adaptive approach, co-creating solutions with Community Builders residents to help them forge paths toward sustainable health, employment and housing.
Community Builders has grown to 15 sites with over 800 residents and prioritizes culturally-safe care by investing in ongoing training and education for their staff, enhancing their cultural awareness and competence to deliver sensitive and respectful care to all individuals. They actively engage with the communities they serve, valuing their input, feedback, and collaboration to ensure services remain culturally responsive and relevant. Their unwavering commitment to continuous improvement drives them to adapt their practices and policies to meet the evolving needs and preferences of the communities they support.
Since 2017, Community Builders has invested in their employee’s safety and well-being in the workplace by continuing to provide ARETE’s ‘customized’ Workplace Violence Prevention De-escalation training to their valued team members. When COVID-19 restrictions came into place, Community Builders took the necessary steps to expediently shift from ARETE’s award-winning in-person workshops to delivery of our interactive Live Webinars.
ARETE is very proud to continue facilitating job-specific training to the employees of Community Builders so they can remain safe at work and in their personal lives.
